Move over Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Coke Lite, a new super-healthy option is about to hit stores.
The Coca-Cola Company has unveiled its latest product, called Coca-Cola Plus.
Whereas previous healthy colas have cut down the amount of sugar, the new drink not only has zero sugar but also contains five grams of indigestible dextrin and other dietary fibre (or fiber as its spelled in the USA) reports RocketNews24
Indigestible dextrin is a water-soluble dietary fibre made from corn and used as a supplement to help people whose diet does not contain enough roughage.
The substance slows the absorption of sugar and fat from food, promotes the absorption of essential minerals and boosts the health of the gut.

Coca-Cola says that drinking one bottle day with your meals is needed to get the full effects - the first time it has stated a recommended dose for its drink.
You would need to split the contents of a bottle and have some of the drink with every meal through the day.
Coca-Cola Plus goes on sale in March, initially in Japan where the gradual switch to Western eating habits means people no longer get enough fibre in their diets.
