Coca-Cola South Pacific has bolstered its Cascade range as it looks to capitalise on the trend for non-alcoholic adult beverages in Australia.
The company said today that it has added new flavours to the Cascade portfolio, as well as reformulated its existing Ginger Beer and Tonic Water options. New flavours include Raspberry, Mint & Ginger, Spiced Pear & Bitters and Spicy Ginger Beer.
Coca-Cola said the roll-out, which also features new packaging, would be backed by a AUD1m (US$770,000) marketing campaign. The campaign will position Cascade as a premium adult sparkling brand, aimed at consumers over 30 years old.
"Cascade's new range delivers refreshing flavours that are designed for adult taste buds," said brand manager Bridget Slipper. "The launch was timed to coincide with the entertaining season and to bring adults a wider range of refined, sophisticated flavours to enjoy either straight or as an addition to their favourite spirits."
Cascade is available in sizes including 33cl glass bottles in selected on-premise, 4x30cl glass bottles and 4x20cl can multipacks in major grocery stores, and 85cl PET in selected bottle shops.
